Scope Installation of Catenary Systems

EXPLANATION
The Marmaray Project is the one of the most important project of the world which connects two Continents Asia AND Europe under the sea with immersed tube tunnel. The total length of project is 76 km where 47 in Asian side and 29 km European side. The tunnel section of the line has been designed as double tracks and the open section of the line as three – tracks. The total tunnel lenght is 13200 m where 1382 m of the tunnel under sea. Along the alignment there are 3 underground, 38 at grade stations and 3 depot areas. One of the depots will serve for Intercity Trains and the others two for commuter trains. Two tracks will be reserved for Commuter Trains; one track is to provide bi-directional Train operation. The line will be constructed between Gebze district Asian side and Halkalı district at European side and 75000 passengers shall be transported one hour – one direction.
